Be Chef for the Day at CasCades Restaurant

Always wanted to find out what it takes to whip up a meal ala a restaurant chef? You can do so within the kitchen of CasCades Restaurant, under the guidance of Chef Wayan.

You will prepare dishes for an Indonesian tasting menu consisting of spring roll with Indonesian vegetables, soto ayam Madura (chicken soup Madura style), sate lilit Balinese style, pepes ikan kemangi (steamed fish with spices wrapped in banana leaf), gulai kambing (lamb curry with coconut milk), babi panggang (grilled pork), and Chef's specially selected Balinese dessert.

The lesson begins with a trip to Ubud market at 8am for purchasing all the fresh herbs and ingredients required for the dishes. Back in the kitchen, you will spend 120 minutes preparing the meal, which you can enjoy for your lunch with a refreshing juice or non-alcoholic drink.

This class is open to in-house guests, and only one person is required for the class to commence. Reservation for this course, costing US$61++, is required a day in advance.
